Chihuly at the Dallas Arboretum
Visited the Dallas Arboretum on Wednesday 20 June to see the Chihuly Exhibit. We really enjoyed seeing the glass installed in the gardens and marveled that the severe hailstorm of just a few days ago didn't smash everything to smithereens. Although the sculptures were lighted when we arrived, bright sunlight prevented us seeing that effect until it began to grow dark. We preferred them in bright sunlight because it provided more opportunities to see variations in the glass than did the artificial light.
