We enjoyed a short trip to Denver to celebrate our 51st Anniversary. We had enough miles to fly first class on American Airlines and stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. We had a two-room suite with access to the "Club Lounge." The hotel was conveniently within walking distance to many attractions: Larimer Square; Union Station, 16th Street Mall, etc. The hotel gifted us with chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of bubbly in our suite.
A special dessert ended our anniversary dinner in "Elway's."
We enjoyed walking through Urban Market, a small pop-up craft market. A much larger market, The People's Fair, was located in Capitol Park. A special treat for us was the Chalk Art Festival in Larimer Square.
Not having a schedule and just doing whatever struck our fancy made for an enjoyable trip.
